Modern Myth endeavors to ensure that every transaction at our website(www.modernmyth.in) is seamless. We take great care in delivering our products and adhere to the highest quality standards. Kindly note:
- All our products are handcrafted with love by our artisans, to ensure our customers can get the best of style and utility.
- We also ensure we provide pictures of the products across multiple angles and often with some common objects kept inside/model images/images with measurements mentioned-- so that it to gives you the best idea of the size and dimensions of the product
- We also give you the option to zoom each image to ensure you get a good feel of the final product.
- Post your purchase, each product undergoes a thorough Quality Check, before it is dispatched via our courier partners.
- Thus, as a policy, we do not offer returns or exchanges on products which are delivered in perfect condition as per the order placed.
- However, if the product is wrongfully delivered (product doesn’t match the item in the order confirmation) or has a genuine manufacturing defect then we are open to extending an exchange for your order.
- In such a case kindly send us unpacking video from all 6 sides & images of the defected product to firstname.lastname@example.org / Whatsapp on +91 8882357694 (Monday to Friday 10AM to 5PM working hours) within 24 hours from the date of receiving the package. Our team will inspect the case and get back to you with next steps, if this qualifies for a replacement. Do mention your order number in this email/message.
- Please note unpacking video is COMPULSORY as in-transit damages are covered by courier partners, which need unpacking footage from customer's end as a proof. We shall not be able to entertain any defected product queries if unpacking video is not provided from start to end.
- Depending on where you live, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

- We urge all customers to take care of their Modern Myth bags to increase their shelf life. Here's How You can do so:
- Cleaning of Bag: For the vegan leather part, wipe the stain off by using a cotton pad soaked in any oil (for instance use coconut oil/kerosene oil). Please do a patch test on belt/internal area before putting the oil directly on visible areas of bag. For the fabric & printed portion, wipe it with a dry cloth only.
- Maintain Shape: Store your products in such a position that it doesn’t flatten. For example, if you plan to start using your new bags in a few days, retain the paper fillings received at the time of delivery. This helps retain the original shape of your bags. Similarly, do not put any heavy object on top of your empty Modern Myth bags.
- Do Not Hang: Always keep your Modern Myth bags and wallets on a shelf. Avoid keeping the bags hung for a long time, since this can cause wear and tear to the handles.
- Do Not Overstuff: Avoid keeping any pointed objects inside & on top of the bags. Also, avoid overstuffing, since this might cause damage to the zippers & handles.
- Use Dust Bag: Store the bags in Modern Myth dust bags/cotton covers to protect them from dust. Make sure there is no moisture while storing them. Silica Gel bags can be added to the dust bag if you plan to keep the product stored for a long period.
Please Note The Following while raising RETURN/REFUND REQUESTS:
- Used Products are NOT ELIGIBLE for returns. Kindly provide unpacking video/images of product received at the time of raising Exchange Request.
- Exchange request should be raised within 24 hours of delivery of product.
- Orders priced below ₹1000 are NOT ELIGIBLE for exchange.
- Orders placed under CLEARANCE SALE/SAMPLE SALE are NOT ELIGIBLE for exchange.
- Orders placed using DISCOUNT COUPONS/REFERRAL CODES are NOT ELIGIBLE for exchange.
- For orders placed via multi-brand stocklisting portals like Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa etc. - Kindly follow return/refund procedure specific to the concerned platform.
- We highly recommend shopping Modern Myth products from AUTHORISED STOCKLISTING partners only. Return/Exchange/Refund is not applicable if the products are purchased from unauthorized re-sellers/social media pages/thrift stores etc.
- Orders placed by customers with return history/non-acceptance of orders at the time of COD delivery - shall be auto-cancelled.
EXCHANGE & REFUND PROCESS-IF APPLICABLE
Given the nature of our products, we reserve the sole discretion to provide the resolution to any situation as we deem fit. Each return or exchange request is handled on a case by case basis and we request you to get in touch with our team for prompt resolution. Please note:
- No refunds would be given if the customer has provided wrong or incomplete shipping address, there are 3 failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient.
- Exchange will be only provided after thorough QC at our warehouse after receiving the product. If the products fails QC/Fraudulent practice is found on behalf of the buyer, Modern Myth shall NOT exchange the product and reserves the sole discretion to provide resolution to any situation as we deem fit.
- In case of International Orders, if a customer refuses to pay the Duty as mandated by the respective country of shipment and doesn’t collect his/her order from the Shipping agency (like DHL, Fedex etc.) , then Modern Myth will not be liable to refund any amount for such orders.
- The whole process will require anywhere between 5-15 business days.
